Aims and Objectives: This course serves as an introduction to Islamic legal system. Furthermore, since the legal system in Iran is based at least partially on Imamite Law, the course will also prepare students to take role in Iranian legal system as lawyers, legal advisors, etc.

Thus, the Alumni not only will be able to conduct research on Islam law, but also can adopt roles in legal institutions in Iran.

 

Course Duration: 4 years full-time

Aims and Objectives: This course will give the students a thorough instruction on the core knowledge and skills required for research in Islamic Law. They will be able to (re)read the Islamic legal texts and primary sources and cope with the legal issues raised from Islamic societies.

About PhD Islamic Law

 

Aims and Objectives: The full-time PhD course provides graduate students with an extensive training and supervision to prepare them for the academic profession. It especially enables students to conduct researches on specific legal cases and problems based on the primary sources in Islamic law. They will also be able to work as professional legal consultants in the areas related to Islamic law.
