Nowadays, the most prominent characteristics of developement and maturation of a country is indicates in its scientific and research capabalities. Therefore the faculty ofTheology and  Islamic studies in conformity with Tehran University goals and research policies- symbol af academic education of country - is determine to provide a platform for qualitative and quantitative promotion in research by encouragement of researchers faculty members and student .

Acording to the manual of research and technology of University of Tehran , various reseach issues such as fundamental research projects, applied research projects , special credit assessment (GRANET) , participation in international conferences, the festivals of research and technology, comprehensive Research program and ... would be done in this deputy.
